15T Helicopter Repairer Soldiers are trained to inspect, repair, and maintain UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
Depending on qualifications, unit needs, and assignment, 15T Soldiers may also serve as aircrew members and support flight operations.
This MOS combines aviation maintenance skills with the opportunity to support real Army aviation missions.
Primary duties may include:

Repairing or replacing aircraft components
Supporting engine, rotor, hydraulic, and electrical system maintenance
Conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections

Serving as an aircrew member when qualified and assigned
This MOS requires attention to detail, mechanical ability, safety awareness, and responsibility.
Actual duties and work environments may vary depending on the type of unit, assignment, training level, and deployment status.
Soldiers entering the 15T MOS first complete approximately 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training (BCT).
After BCT, Soldiers attend approximately 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) for UH-60 helicopter maintenance training.

Actual job availability depends on multiple factors, including:
Citizenship status
Security eligibility
ASVAB line scores
Medical qualifications
Current Army job availability
Applicants should always verify eligibility with an official recruiter.
15T generally requires an MM score of 104 on the ASVAB.
MM stands for Mechanical Maintenance, and it reflects mechanical and technical aptitude needed for maintenance-related Army jobs.
MOS eligibility is not based only on the overall AFQT score. It may also depend on:
AFQT score
Line scores
Citizenship requirements
Medical qualifications
Security eligibility
Current MOS availability
Applicants interested in 15T should prepare for mechanical, technical, and maintenance-related ASVAB areas.
Experience as a 15T may support future opportunities in aviation maintenance and mechanical fields.
Potential related career paths may include:
Aircraft Mechanic
Helicopter Maintenance Technician
Aviation Maintenance Technician
Aerospace Maintenance Support
Mechanical Technician
Defense Contractor Aviation Support
FAA-related aviation maintenance pathways
However, completing Army 15T training does not automatically provide a civilian FAA license or certification. Additional education, certification, or licensing may be required depending on the employer and career field.
15T Soldiers primarily work on the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.
15T is generally a U.S. citizen required MOS. Green Card holders may still enlist in the Army, but 15T eligibility may be limited until U.S. citizenship requirements are met.

Army MOS / Army Benefits / Enlistment Information for Korean Applicants
I currently serve at the Fairfax Recruiting Center in Virginia, where I assist applicants in the Northern Virginia area.
Because many parts of the U.S. Army enlistment process can be coordinated through online consultation, I also assist Korean applicants from other states across the United States, not only those living in Virginia.
Note: Actual MEPS processing and shipping procedures are generally handled based on the applicantβs residential area.
